October 17, 1992 I attended my first ever Ramones concert. There were many times that the Ramones played San Diego, but I was never old enough to attend any shows until now. I had hear many stories of how Ramones shows were really loud and wild. I could never imagine how great of a concert it was going to be. It was at an open-air amphitheatre. I first stopped at the merchandise area and could not believe all of the great shirts they had for sale. I only wished that I had money to buy all of them. I did by a few. From beginning to end the Ramones were intense and high energy. I can honestly say that after attending this show I became even a bigger fan than I already was (could this be possible?). Since this show I have never been the same. One of the best memories from this concert was when Joey said "It's great to be back in San Diego tonight...take it CJ...1-2-3-4!"
